  • If you would be very sad if the fandom disappeared off the face of the planet.

Then you might want to “sign” this letter.

This letter is basically to say, “Yeah DA2 had bad reviews and there are plenty of complaints, BUT!!!!… we still love you and are glad you made these games.”

If you want to sign this, send a photograph or scan or digitally drawn copy of your internet handle (or name only if you’re comfortable with that, and preferably only first names w/ initials) to dragonagefans@gmail.com. They should be hand written. The signatures will be printed out together with the letter and mailed to the Dragon Age team c/o BioWare.

Many of us have met many wonderful people through the fandom. Because of our love for the characters and their world, we have sought others of our kind with whom we can share that love. We have not only come up with our own creations, we have shared them. *****Whether we agree with everyone out there or not, and whether we like Dragon Age 2 or not*****, we have still found new friends because of the franchise you have created. So many of us have found wonderful new friends, friends we are very thankful to have in our lives.

One more thing… Reblog it as Text please. Otherwise it’s gonna get swallowed, and tumblr will want to reblog it as a Link. XD

DEADLINE FOR SENDING IN SIGNATURES: End of September, I think? Maybe? If I don’t get any more signatures after a couple weeks I’ll cut it off there.

This is a wonderful idea, passing it along.

Dragon Age is the first fandom and community I’ve ever really participated it and I’m utterly grateful for having joined it.  I’ve met some wonderful people—enthusiastic, funny, intelligent and ridiculously talented individuals—I might have never had the heart to talk to.  I look forward each day to seeing everyone’s creative endeavors and insightful discussions and just being able to talk and share with others of like interests.

So I will send in my signature because yes, I am thankful.  Thankful beyond any words I can ever write, that could express my gratitude, of how much Dragon Age means to me, and the people that make it all possible.

Because well yea.  It’s awesome.
